How It Works
BNI Chichester meet every Thursday morning from 6.45am till 8.30am in one of two meeting places in the Cathedral grounds.
No competition
The success of the group is built upon trust and the desire to build your business and helps other members build their too.
As such, only one member from each profession is allowed to join the group; so, one accountant, one builder, etc.
When you join our group you effectively 'lock-out' the competition and you have the entire chapter membership acting as your sales force, actively looking for work to refer to you.
Where else do you get this focus on building your business.
The meeting
BNI meetings follow a planned agenda designed to result in the maximum benefit for all the group members. The same format is used every week giving members the opportunity to network with each other informally, enjoy a good breakfast and focus on generating business.
The meeting starts at 7:00am (although many members arrive at 6.45am to maximise networking opportunities) with 15 minutes of open networking, and then breakfast is served.
The chapter is run by the Chair, the Membership Secretary and the Treasurer, and collectively they run the meeting according to a set agenda. Click this link to see the agenda.
Your opportunity to educate members on your business.
Each week, every member has a 60 second slot to tell other members about their business.
You will be amazed at what you can get across in 60 seconds!
The key is to end your 60 seconds by asking the members for a lead into a particular business/introduction to talk to someone/help with a sale/etc.
Periodically, you will be offered the opportunity to take the 10 minute slot; this is a real chance to educate your 'sales team' in more depth about your business; who you want to do business with; and help to build your sales. Invariably, your 10 minutes leads to more business because other members fully understand what you are looking for and can help you.
